Privacy Policy for MySATQB

MySATQB is a free online SAT practice and progress-tracking platform managed by Testology LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains what information MySATQB collects, how we use it, and the choices students and parents have.
MySATQB is for students age 13 and older. Children under 13 are not allowed to create accounts or use the service. MySATQB is not directed to children under 13.

1. What MySATQB Does
MySATQB helps students practice with SAT-style questions, complete practice tests and worksheets, review completed work, track progress, and download reports.
Students may use MySATQB to:
create an account; sign in with email/password or Google sign-in; take SAT-style practice tests and worksheets; answer questions from a SAT question database; save incomplete work and resume it later; review completed work; view statistics about accuracy, timing, domains, skills, and progress; flag questions for later practice; report possible question or content errors; import College Board practice test result data manually or from uploaded or copy-pasted score data; and download PDF reports for completed work.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate MySATQB, keep accounts secure, save student progress, and improve the service.
Account Information
When a student creates an account, we may collect:
email address; password-related authentication information if using email/password sign-in; basic account settings; and account login and status information.
We do not store plain-text passwords.
Google Sign-In Information
If a student signs in with Google, we may receive basic Google profile information, such as:
name; email address; profile picture; and Google account identifier.
We use this information only to create, authenticate, secure, and manage the student’s MySATQB account. We do not receive the student’s Google password.
Practice and Progress Data
MySATQB stores student practice activity so students can save work, resume later, review past work, and track improvement. This may include:
answers selected or entered; whether answers were correct or incorrect; time spent per question; question visits and navigation timing; completed and incomplete attempts; practice test and worksheet results; scores and score estimates; imported practice test result data; flagged questions; review history; domain, skill, accuracy, and timing statistics; and PDF reports generated from completed work.
Imported Score Data
Students may manually enter, upload, or copy and paste College Board practice test result data. We use that information to help students organize results, review performance, and track progress inside MySATQB.
Students should not upload College Board passwords, login credentials, or unrelated personal documents.
Question Error Reports
If a student reports a possible question or content error, we may collect:
the reported question; the student’s description of the issue; related answer or attempt information; and account information needed to review or respond to the report.
Technical and Log Data
Like most websites, we collect technical information needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service. This may include:
IP address; browser type; device information; operating system; pages or features used; dates and times of access; server logs; crash reports; error diagnostics; and security-related logs.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
create and manage student accounts; authenticate users and keep accounts secure; save incomplete work and allow students to resume later; show completed work, review history, and progress statistics; generate practice reports; process imported score data; identify and fix technical problems; investigate reported question or content errors; prevent abuse, scraping, unauthorized access, and security threats; send account-related and transactional emails; improve the reliability, usability, and educational quality of MySATQB; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell student personal information.
We do not use student data for advertising.
We do not allow third-party ad tracking on MySATQB.
4. Service Providers
We use service providers to operate, secure, host, monitor, email, and improve MySATQB. These providers may process data for us only for those purposes.
Current or expected service providers may include:
Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Vercel for hosting; Cloudflare for DNS, security, and performance; Resend for transactional emails; Sentry for error monitoring and diagnostics; and Google for Google sign-in.
These providers may process information such as account data, technical logs, authentication data, stored practice data, error logs, or email delivery information as needed to provide their services to MySATQB.
5. Google Sign-In Data
If a student chooses to sign in with Google, MySATQB uses the Google information we receive only for account login, account identification, security, and account management.
MySATQB does not use Google sign-in data for advertising. MySATQB does not sell Google sign-in data. MySATQB does not use Google sign-in data to access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, or other Google files.
MySATQB’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, where applicable.
6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
MySATQB may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies to make the service work properly.
These technologies may be used to:
keep students signed in; remember session information; protect accounts from unauthorized access; save progress or interface settings; support security features; understand technical performance; and diagnose errors.
MySATQB does not use cookies for third-party advertising or third-party ad tracking.
Students can change browser settings to block or delete cookies, but some parts of MySATQB may not work correctly without them.
7. When We Share Information
We may share information in the following limited situations.
With Service Providers
We share information with service providers that help us operate, secure, host, monitor, email, and improve MySATQB.
For Legal or Safety Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:
comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or government request; protect the security or integrity of MySATQB; prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, or unauthorized access; investigate security issues; protect the rights, safety, or property of students, parents, MySATQB, Testology LLC, or others.
8. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide MySATQB, maintain student accounts, support progress tracking, improve the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms of Service.
In general:
account information is kept while the account remains active; practice and progress data is kept so students can review past work and track progress; imported score data is kept so students can use it for progress tracking; technical logs are usually kept for a limited period unless needed for security, troubleshooting, or legal reasons; error reports may be kept to improve question quality and site accuracy; and backup copies may remain for a limited time after deletion before they are overwritten or removed.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete it or de-identify it so it is no longer linked to a specific student account.
9. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
Students, parents, or guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with an account.

We may need to verify the request before acting on it. For example, we may need to confirm that the person making the request is the account holder or the parent or guardian of the student.
Some information may not be deleted immediately if we need to keep it for legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.
10. Children Under 13
MySATQB is for users age 13 and older. Children under 13 are not allowed to create accounts or use the service.
MySATQB is not directed to children under 13, and we do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

11. Students Under 18
Students under 18 should use MySATQB with permission from a parent or guardian.

12. Security Practices
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect user information. These may include:
authentication controls; encrypted connections; access controls; database security settings; monitoring and error logging; vendor security tools; and limits on who can access user data.
No website or online service can guarantee perfect security. Students should help protect their accounts by using strong passwords, keeping login credentials private, and signing out when using shared devices.

MySATQB is an independent SAT practice and progress-tracking platform.
SAT®, Bluebook™, and College Board® are trademarks of College Board. PSAT/NMSQT® is a registered trademark of the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
MySATQB is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by College Board or National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
MySATQB may allow students to import or organize their own College Board practice test result data, but MySATQB is not affiliated with College Board.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.
If we make important changes, we may provide additional notice, such as by email, in-app notice, or a notice on the website.
Continued use of MySATQB after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to future use of the service.
